Society of Women Engineers

Recent studies show that the middle school period of a child's life is the most influential in the subjects of math and science. The Georgia Southern SWE section strives to create awareness in these areas by involvement with local schools and organizations in hopes to give those younger generations a positive attitute towards technical fields.

Building Your DREAMS stands for Designing engineeRing sciEnce And Math Success. SWE envisioned this event as a way to impact many students of our community. At the fair, there is games, competitions, hands-on experiments, information sessions to include tutoring and networking with students and local company representatives. It is hoped that we can help close the gap between the University's organizations and community.

This event is SWE's staple event. 2007 was it's inaguration year, and we plan to continue for years to come!
